There's no "moderates" in Iran's dictatorship

Just like there's no "moderate" Islam, there's also nobody rational in Iran's vile, repellent autocratic government, as a writer for the Federalist makes clear:
If Iran is the most prominent state sponsor of terrorism in the world, can its president be called a “centrist?” What about if under that president Iran has become the world’s leading executioner of all people per capita, and of women and children on an absolute basis?

Does a president termed the “Diplomatic Sheikh,” a man who brags about deceiving the West in negotiations to buy time to advance Iran’s nuclear program; who describes such diplomatic engagement as “jihad;” and who calls for still more “jihad and resistance” against Israel while pointing 250,000 rockets at it, strike you as “centrist?”

If that president served for 40 years at the highest levels of the Islamic revolutionary regime as the first official following the overthrow of the shah who, standing steadfast at Ayatollah Khomeini’s side, called for public executions to chill opponents of the revolution, can he rightly be called a “centrist?” And how, pray tell, are we to distinguish between this supposedly centrist president and the Khomeinist regime under which he serves in the first place?

In Iran, “hardliner” supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khameini is truly supreme. Khameini blesses or directs every aspect of national policy. The president is constitutionally subordinate. Further, the supreme leader has power direct and indirect over the Guardian Council, which is responsible for vetting and approving all presidential candidates, not to mention ratifying all legislation parliament passes.
It makes no difference whether Iran's replaced a lot of their "presidents" over the years every 8 or so; what surely matters most of all is that they all must adhere to Islamic sheikhs who give the main commands. And, worst of all, they adhere to Islam.

Sooner or later, forces who care will have to start raiding Iran if that's what it takes to stop their tyranny once and for all.

Marion Marechal-Le Pen wins over the CPAC crowd

It looks like the niece of Marine Le Pen's had some success at the CPAC gathering this year, where she told how France today is under siege by Islamofascism:
Marine Le Pen's niece has echoed Donald Trump as she called for a “France first” agenda and told US right-wingers: “Just like you, we want our country back.”

Marion Maréchal-Le Pen cited Mr Trump’s election victory and the Brexit vote in 2016 as inspiration for France to distance itself from the European Union (EU).

She used an address to the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday to praise the US president’s success in putting conservatism at the top of the political agenda.

And she claimed the French youth is right-leaning and believers in national identity as she issued a call to arms for the populist revolution.

“Let me be clear here. I’m not offended when I hear President Donald Trump say ‘America first’,” Ms Le Pen said.

“In fact, I want America first for the American people, I want Britain first for the British people and I want France first for the French people."

Ms Le Pen, a 28-year-old National Front politician whose aunt led the party in last year’s election, had faced controversy over her appearance from the US media given her hardline views.
Not only that, she's even faced hostility from phony conservatives who believe the sins of the father fall upon the child, and whom are likely part of the Never Trump bunch. Those kind of people should get out of the CPAC staffers already.
Taking to the stage, she joked away the row, saying she was “less terrifying” than the US newspapers had portrayed.

In a 10-minute speech which saw mentions of the EU booed by the right-wing crowd, Ms Le Pen suggested she wanted to repeat in France what Mr Trump had achieved in America.

“Just like you, we want our country back. I came here to tell you that there is a youth ready for this fight in Europe today,” she said.

“A youth who believes in hard work, who believe the flag means something, who want to preserve individual freedom and private property.”

Ms Le Pen repeatedly criticised the EU for “slowly killing” nation states and warned over the impact of “political correctness” and “massive immigration” in France.

“The last two years have shown one thing: Never underestimate the people,” she said.

Ms Le Pen continued:“When the people are given the opportunity to take their country back, they will seize it.

“Through your actions and your talents, you have succeeded in putting conservatism right back to the top of the political agenda.

“Let us build on what you have achieved here so that both sides on the Atlantic a conservative agenda will remain.”
I agree with this. I do think she should reject her uncle Jean-Marie Le Pen altogether, because I have no doubt he used his antisemitism as a way to undermine the fight against Islam, and in his recently published memoirs, he still makes clear he sees nothing wrong with nazism.

Here's more on Newsmax:
Far-right French politician Marion Maréchal-Le Pen said in a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference that "France is no longer free," and warning against immigration, Breitbart reports.

[...] "I refuse the standardized world of the EU… all I want is the survival of my nation… this young French generation are not encouraged to connect with and love their heritage, they are brainwashed with guilt and shame of their country," she said in her speech.

"The result is the development of Islamic society in France.

"After 40 years of mass migration, Islamic lobbies and political correctness, France is in the process of passing from the eldest daughter of the Catholic Church, to becoming the little niece of Islam. Terrorism is only the tip of the iceberg — this is not the France that our grandparents fought for."
Of course, we have some of those Vichyite types to blame for allowing Haj-Amin el-Husseini to evade justice. I'm glad to see Marechal-Le Pen, like Rand Paul, is doing her best to avoid the spectre of an awful man and stick to the real challenges instead.

Moshe Abutbol's stalling on setting up security cameras in Beit Shemesh

The corrupt Shas-affiliated mayor in Beit Shemesh was called before the court again over his failure to install security cameras to catch Haredi extremists hanging up modesty signs:
Israel's Supreme Court ordered the Beit Shemesh municipality to increase its efforts to nab haredi extremists flouting a law banning the hanging of so-called "modesty signs". [...]

During a hearing on the issue on Sunday, the Supreme Court accused Beit Shemesh of not investing sufficient efforts in combating the phenomenon and ordered the municipality to install video cameras near the seven major flashpoints in order to enforce the courts directive banning modesty signs.
As always, they're trying to dodge court orders and break the law. I believe more fines and warnings of incarceration would be quite useful in dealing with such a scumbag as Abutbol.

Rich white leftists are funding and institutionalizing transgender ideology

A lady writing for the Federalist (via Breitbart) revealed how some rich white liberal billionaires - including male transsexuals - are bankrolling the institutionalization of transgender culture at the expense of women, sans any consideration for their safety:
As an environmental activist who was deplatformed from a speaking venue by transactivists, in 2013 I developed curiosity about the power of this group to force this development. A year later, when Time magazine announced a transgender tipping point on its cover, I had already begun to examine the money behind the transgender project.

I have watched as all-women’s safe spaces, universities, and sports opened their doors to any man who chose to identify as a woman. Whereas men who identify as transwomen are at the forefront of this project, women who identify as transmen seem silent and invisible. I was astonished that such a huge cultural change as the opening of sex-protected spaces was happening at such a meteoric pace and without consideration for women and girls’ safety, deliberation, or public debate.

[...] I found exceedingly rich, white men with enormous cultural influence are funding the transgender lobby and various transgender organizations. These include but are not limited to Jennifer Pritzker (a male who identifies as transgender); George Soros; Martine Rothblatt (a male who identifies as transgender and transhumanist); Tim Gill (a gay man); Drummond Pike; Warren and Peter Buffett; Jon Stryker (a gay man); Mark Bonham (a gay man); and Ric Weiland (a deceased gay man whose philanthropy is still LGBT-oriented). Most of these billionaires fund the transgender lobby and organizations through their own organizations, including corporations.
No surprise Soros would be involved, that's for sure. And come to think of it, no surprise these transvestites are either, nor that they seem so unconcerned about the possibilities the biological men could be pretending to be women as a means of preying on the real, biological women. This is basically how societies are destroyed, through psychological warfare. Read more to see how even so many so-called medical institutions and other such outfits are also involved, including Planned Parenthood. It's time to put a stop to this offensive lunacy, especially considering how it hurts women far more than men. I once heard that nearly 10 percent of men were homosexual, compared to women, where just half that amount are lesbians. Quite possibly, because manhood is wrecked by homosexuality more than womenhood, so these kind of outfits seek to destroy men's minds even more than women's when they think it gives them advantages.

David Friedman warns why a civil war could erupt

The US ambassador to Israel understands why expulsion of Jews from Judea/Samaria (and Gaza) could lead to a civil war:
Privately and off the record, US Ambassador David Friedman gave a pessimistic assessment of issues surrounding a possible peace deal with the Palestinians to a group of officials from the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish American Organizations, according to a Channel 10 News report Monday.

“We do not want to raise expectations about the chances of reaching a peace agreement too much. We are realistic. We want a peace agreement, but we know that this would not destroy Hezbollah or ISIS,” he reportedly said, while adding, “In any case, we don’t believe that threatening to pressure Israel is helpful.”

He came down hard on the Palestinian Authority, according to a few attendees at the briefing, saying, “They have not shown that they are capable of building institutions that will allow them to live in peace with their neighbors.”

But even if a deal was in the offing, he was not sanguine about the chances that Israeli society would survive intact, according to the report. The possibility of a mass refusal to follow orders to evict Jews from their homes “worries the Israeli government,” he reportedly said. “The command echelon in the IDF is going more and more to the national religious [sector]. These are people who feel duty-bound to this land as land given to them by God,” he added, saying it was his opinion that “the expulsion of hundreds of thousands of settlers could lead to a civil war in Israel.”
It's entirely possible, and something we don't need, so neither the left nor right-wing politicians should do anything to cause disaster.

Haredis in London want schools to teach according to their narrow view of history/science

Seems there's a bunch there who want the education curriculum to reflect their view that the world is only several thousand years old:
An ultra-Orthodox Jewish group in London is understood to have written a letter urging teachers to boycott Government funding that would oblige them to teach “the lie that the world is ancient”, rather than 6,000 years old, as it says in the Bible.

The leaked document, written in ancient Hebrew, was reportedly sent to in January by the Union of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations, which has an affiliation of nearly 90 synagogues, as well as educational institutions.

The letter, which focuses on funding for schools in Hackney, north-east London, is said to state senior rabbis in the community met to review new Department of Education funding contracts.

It reveals they concluded signing the contracts could amount to heresy on grounds a clause they contain bans schools from promoting “views or theories as fact which is contrary to established scientific or historical evidence and explanations”, the Sunday Times reported.

This would preclude teachers from putting forward the view the Earth is only 6,000 years old. Scientific evidence points to the figure being out by around 4.5 billion years.
The irony is that the UK's educational curriculum has long done just that, and lately, it includes claiming homosexuality is genetic, and promoting distortions of gender, which led to a sad result coming from the Haredi community in Britain itself, and the additional irony is that, because of their concept of gender segregation, the Haredis have influenced homosexuality within their own community. And the UK's legal system has practically been making it illegal to criticize all these insane practices, save for selective choices, like the Islamists, and even some Haredis themselves.

And since when does it literally say in the Bible that the world is only several thousand years of age? I don't think that's the case; it's just superficial at best, but doesn't say it began merely a short era ago, nor does it deny the existence of dinosaurs, which existed millions of years prior to humanity. I don't recall anything in the Biblical verses I've read in the past that contradict science. Otherwise, what would be the point of developing machinery and health food?

Whoever these jerks are who gave the press something to write about, they've done the Jewish community as a whole a terrible disfavor by taking attention away from more important issues like Islamofascism.

Rabbinate damaged reputation of Canadian rabbi

More victims of the Haredi-controlled rabbinate have turned up:
Prominent Montreal rabbi, Adam Scheier, told representatives of Israel’s Chief Rabbinate on Monday that he had been personally hurt by his inclusion on the infamous “blacklist” of 160 Diaspora rabbis whose authority the rabbinate had rejected.

Scheier, along with other North American rabbis, traveled to Israel to take part in a meeting on the matter initiated by MK Elazar Stern (Yesh Atid) and hosted by the Knesset Immigration and Absorption Committee.

Chief Rabbinate Director-General Moshe Dagan reiterated his previous response, saying the list was never intended to be a blacklist, but a list of applications for marriage licenses that were rejected because of unsatisfactory or incomplete processes. “There was no blacklist,” he said heatedly, fending off accusations from many MKs and rabbis in the room. “I’ll say it 10 times.”

The list, he said, was taken out of context and was not against any specific rabbis.
Forget it, we're not buying this pathetic excuse.
Rabbi Scheier, specifically, he said, had sought to marry a divorced woman, but the rabbinate had not received the necessary divorce documents.

“Why do we, rabbis from abroad, need your approval?” asked Rabbi Shlomo Riskin.

“I don’t understand why those who live abroad need to justify themselves,” agreed MK Rachel Azaria (Kulanu), commenting that US Jewry existed before the State of Israel and helped to found it.

Shuki Friedman, director of the Israel Democracy Institute’s Center for Religion, Nation and State, said the Chief Rabbinate of Israel was turning into the “Chief Rabbinate of the World.”

Scheier said the rabbinical group damaged his reputation, even among his own community.
I think it would be a good idea to start taking these matter before the supreme court if they think it could do any good. In any case, I do know most people shouldn't rely on the Law of Return, if that's what they're concerned about, but just apply for standard citizenship. All that aside, it's also offensive how the Haredis running the rabbinate are giving ammunition to potential leftists, and rightists may be failing to address the issues clearly.

It turns out Mayim Bialik is a leftist

The same actress, star of Blossom and Big Bang Theory, who implied immodest dress is to blame for sexual assault a few months ago when the Weinstein scandal first erupted, is now supporting leftist calls for gun control and civil disobedience to reach that goal following the tragedy in Florida:
Actress Mayim Bialik is asking people to vote against candidates supported by the NRA and use “civil disobedience” to secure more gun control.

Bialik took to social media in the wake of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, urging her fans and fellow celebrities to “Make it your life’s goal to support and vote for every single person who challenges a politician with NRA money behind them.”

Bialik is also urging “civil disobedience,” which she believes will result in forcing Congress to pass more gun control laws. The actress is promoting a March 14 “National School Walkout,” which is being organized by the National Women’s March. (The National Women’s March held a July 14, 2017, march which featured armed guards walking with the women who were protesting the NRA and the presence of guns in society).
Now isn't that fascinating. On the one hand, they oppose guns, yet have no qualms making use of guards with the same. Two sides of the same coin. And she even encourages violence, which the school's students were victims of.

In any event, Bialik's proven herself stupid beyond a reasonable doubt, and it's probably about time she retired from her career in acting, since she obviously doesn't have a clue, no thanks to a poor education, which is exactly what the barbarians who committed these awful crimes with guns are products of themselves. I'm not wasting time on her two TV series today, and no one else with sense should either.

Lesbian couple in Paris attacked in no-go zone subway area

The real homophobes, the Islamofascists, appear to be the culprits in assaulting a pair of lesbians in Paris, who fortunately didn't suffer any serious injuries:
A lesbian couple was attacked in the Paris suburb of Val-d’Oise over the weekend after a group of young men shouted slurs at them calling them “lesbian whores”.

The attack occurred at a train station of the Paris RER public transit system which links the heavily migrant-populated suburbs to the centre of the city. The young women, aged 17 and 18, say they were accosted by several young men who pulled their hair and pulled at their clothes, Le Figaro reports.

The attackers continued to harass the young women on the RER train leading to one of the women calling the police. Seven young men — all under the age of 17 — were arrested at the Conflans-Sainte-Honorine station. Two of those arrested were held in police custody including a girl who was with the young men.

Police say that neither of the girls was seriously injured but both were in shock over the incident.
The irony is that the male perpetrators themselves could be homosexual, and think only lesbians are taboo. More sick violence taking place in a city that'll take ages to repair.

Poland's premier is only making things worse

It seems that, at a time when any country in Europe would need all the help it can get in an era where Islamofascism's become a serious threat, Poland's representatives have only led to embarrassment:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned as “outrageous” his Polish counterpart Mateusz Morawiecki’s remark Saturday that Jewish perpetrators were also responsible for the Holocaust.

“The Polish prime minister’s remarks here in Munich are outrageous,” said Netanyahu, who is also in Germany for a security conference.

“There is a problem here of an inability to understand history and a lack of sensitivity to the tragedy of our people. I intend to speak with him forthwith,” Netanyahu said in a statement from Munich.
To make matters worse, Germany's foreign minister even defended Poland's political idiots, which only compounds the problem more. The primary article continues:
Addressing the Munich Security Conference earlier, Morawiecki was rejecting criticism of a new law that criminalizes mentions of Polish state complicity in the Holocaust, when he was asked by an Israeli journalist if sharing his family’s history of persecution in Poland would be outlawed under the new legislation.

“Of course it’s not going to be punishable, [it’s] not going to be seen as criminal to say that there were Polish perpetrators, as there were Jewish perpetrators, as there were Russian perpetrators, as there were Ukrainian; not only German perpetrators,” Morawiecki told Yedioth Ahronoth’s Ronen Bergman.
This is just stupefying, mainly because I've got a feeling he's not talking about "kapos", the word for collaborators. The man's a major disappointment, along with quite a few other Polish politicians.

And Jews living in Poland are already starting to feel devastated and uneasy:
Matylda Jonas-Kowalik has spent most of her 22 years secure in the belief that she would never know the discrimination, persecution or violence that killed or traumatized generations of Polish Jews before her. She once thought the biggest problem that young Jewish Poles like herself faced was finding a Jewish boyfriend or girlfriend in a country dominated by Catholics.

But an eruption of anti-Semitic comments in public debates amid a diplomatic dispute with Israel over a new Holocaust speech law has caused to her to rethink that certainty. Now she and others fear the hostile rhetoric could eventually trigger anti-Semitic violence, and she finds herself thinking constantly about whether she should leave Poland.

“This is my home. I have never lived anywhere else and wanted this to keep being my home,” said Jonas-Kowalik, a Jewish studies major at Warsaw University. “But this makes me very anxious. I don’t know what to expect.”

Poland’s Jewish community is the surviving remnant of a vibrant and diverse Polish- and Yiddish-speaking community that numbered 3.3 million on the eve of the Holocaust. Only 10 percent survived the German genocide, while postwar violence and persecution in the first decades of communist rule forced out many of the survivors.

Since communism’s collapse in 1989, Jewish life has been re-emerging, with young people feeling safe enough in Poland’s democracy to embrace a heritage their parents and grandparents had largely repressed.

Yet anxieties have been creeping in amid a global rise in xenophobia that was also felt in Poland.
With this recent shift in Poland, it's clear they never abandoned anti-semitism on a serious basis, and part of the blame for that will have to fall on other countries with alleged common sense who never called on them to modify their legal systems to ensure improvements. Now, we're reaching a situation where Poland's taking away attention that should be reserved for focusing on Islamofascism's terrible impact on Europe. And they obviously don't care.

Haredi cult overlords don't want anybody dressing in IDF costumes for Purim

It's not entirely new, but it's still a show of disrespect for the Israeli army they're putting on display:
As the Purim holiday approaches, a group of 35 leading Sephardic haredi rabbis penned a letter expressing their opposition to the popular custom of dressing up as IDF soldiers.

The rabbis wrote that dressing up as soldiers would be improper "at a time when the government is trying to seduce and intimidate the youth," into serving in the army, and alleged that the costumes would legitimize IDF service in the haredi community.

The rabbis wrote that instead of IDF soldiers, "children should be encouraged to dress up like rabbis and righteous people in order to emulate them."

"These costumes have a great influence on the souls of our children and their aspirations and we need to educate them to stay away from this ugliness," added the letter, which was signed by senior rabbis in some of the most prominent Sephardic yeshivas, including Rabbi Shalom Cohen, who heads the Shas party's Council of Torah Sages.

The letter marks the first time that senior rabbis of the Sephardic haredi stream have issued a ban on such costumes. While rabbis from the Lithuanian-haredi stream have been issuing such letters annually since 2013, the Sephardic rabbis are considered more moderate in their attitude towards IDF service.
Well, if anything, it demonstrates how little respect the people associated with the disgraceful Shas party have for those defending the country while they live on socialist welfare. And to imply rabbis are inherently righteous is a very dumb thing to do, because there have sadly been rabbis who've committed wrongs too. Heck, who's even righteous in any era? To put it that way risks pushing for sainthood. That's not the way to go about these issues.

French government accused of following sharia on the topic of housing benefits

Here's a report that's cause for concern over in France:
The French government has been accused of following Islamic law, specifically one which designates guardianship of children, to determine housing benefits for Muslims.

The French housing benefit, known as CAF, is calculated on a number of factors, including the income of a household and how many children live in a household.

On the official website of the CAF, the government mentions a form of Islamic jurisprudence known as “Kafala” as being valid alongside other documents to prove guardianship of children, leading some to question if the government is following Islamic law.

Anti-Islamisation Front National MP Gilbert Collard questioned the French state giving legal legitimacy to what he called a “Quranic judgement”.

Describing Kafala as “totally foreign to any French legal norm” and arguing that such judgements are “directly derived from the Quranic law”, Collard asked the French Justice Ministry how Quranic law held any force in France.

Fellow Front National member and MEP Bernard Monot also questioned whether or not the policy was a sign of Islamisation.
If the government's smart, they'll drop the subject from the listings on the site, and not promote such propaganda any longer. It's totally detrimental, and Laurent Waquiez, as the new leader of Les Republicains, would do well to address the issue as well.

Gender separate courses for Haredis in state-sponsored tour guiding are inappropriate

It's great if the Haredi community's willing to do what it takes to work in jobs, but, not if they're going to go by customs that contradict free society:
The state agreed this week to cancel a gender-separate a tour-guiding course following a court petition by the Israeli Women’s Network arguing that such separation is discriminatory and forbidden in state institutions.

In August 2017, the Tourism Ministry published a tender for a gender-separate tour-guiding course aimed at Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) men. The Israeli Women’s Network claimed however in its petition to the Jerusalem District Court that “the stipulation in the Tourism ministry’s tender that the tour-guiding course be conducted separately on the basis of gender harms the constitutional right to equality and contravenes the instructions of the law for tenders and the law against discrimination.”

The organization pointed out that the course is a state provided service, subsidised by the state and the public purse, and helps define the labor market and professional networks of the country.

Judge Oded Shaham said during a hearing on Wednesday that the state would need to demonstrate “a factual basis justifying separation, because separation is discrimination and just once is sufficient to harm the right to equality.

It is thought that the ruling could have a significant impact on similar cases, such as demands for gender separation in institutions of higher education, the work place, and other forums.

Due to the pressure of the petition and the judge’s position, the state agreed to retract the tender and republish it without reference to gender.
If anything, the tourism ministry, if they're the ones who advertised the course, should not have put in pandering notions for Haredis. What they could've done was say they hope all segments of society will apply without letting "customs" get in the way, and they shouldn't be acting as though the Haredi customs involving gender segregation are even remotely acceptable.
